What If We're Really Bad With Photos?

Almost every family says this when we first meet them, so you're definitely not alone! Here's the thing though — the photos that you actually love are always the candid ones. Not the stiff, posed photos where everyone looks like they've been meticulously moulded for a cheap fashion mag. That's because they're a natural reflection of who you really are, rather than a fake imitation. So we're not going to make you pose like statues. We'll give you simple, fun cues that let you interact naturally with each other and do whatever feels completely normal for your family. And as for the kids? Believe it or not, the best results come from simply working with them (no matter what mood they're in). Nothing forced, nothing fake. Just letting them be themselves.

What If The Kids Have A Meltdown?

We've got two boys of our own, so we 100% get it (I mean, we really, really do...). But as wedding photographers, we've also photographed every type of kid and adult you can think of, often in situations where there is time pressure and no do-overs. We can tell you that the best results always come from working with them rather than forcing them to do things that they don't want to, which means avoiding the awkward, posy photos that nobody truly wants anyway. But the biggest secret to great family photos? Relaxed parents. When you're not stressed, the kids do pick up on it, and suddenly everything just falls into place. You'll be amazed at how easy all this actually is once you see it happening.

How Many Photos Will We Get?

On average, around 25+ photos for a Simple Session and 75+ for an Extended Session, but there is absolutely no set limit. The final number usually depends on things like how many people are involved, how much action there is and what activity we're doing together. What you won't get, however, is a bunch of near-identical shots or poor quality fillers. Every photo will have a purpose.

Can We Print Our Own Photos?

Absolutely, they're yours! We deliver every photo in full resolution so you can download them straight from your gallery and print them anywhere you like. That said, if the thought of cruddy Officeworks and Big W prints makes you shudder (we feel you), don't worry, we've got you covered. You can order stunning paper, canvas and metal prints directly from your gallery, all handcrafted by our world-class print lab that blows every retail option completely out of the water. Get in touch and tell us a little bit about your family and what kind of session you’re keen on. When you're ready, booking takes about five minutes. Then, we're all yours!

02 — Your Adventure

We'll head somewhere you love or do something you're into — the park, the beach, the backyard, the kitchen, pretty much anything goes! With no posing and no awkwardness, the pressure is released, allow all of your family to just be themselves. You’ll barely know that our cameras are even there!

03 — The Wait is over!

Keep an eye on your messages, because within a couple of weeks, your own private online gallery will be ready and waiting, where you can download, share and relive on repeat. And if you love what you see, we can also help you turn your favourites into something real!
