Your wedding isnt the

Adventure Sessions — Engagement Shoots done the fun way! Instead of standing awkwardly in a field practicing cringey poses, we’ll hang out somewhere you love and do something way more fun. You’ll get some amazing photos to share, but more importantly, it’s a chance for the four of us to hang out, have a drink, have a laugh, and get comfy with each other before the big day.

That’s right, two sets of eyes on everything. Twice the variety, twice the perspectives and twice the care. On top of that, we won’t be rushing you through your day, because we don’t have somewhere else to be. Soak it all up and have the time of your life without worrying about photos. How’s that for taking the weight off?
No posing, Nothing staged
This is basically our approach in a nutshell. We’ll simply capture candid moments without staging anything or interfering with your day. And for portraits, we’ll guide you with fun, natural prompts so that you’ll never look or feel posed, awkward and uncomfortable. Hell, you’ll barely realise our cameras are there!
We’ll have heaps of fun
Our couples mean the world to us and we love celebrating with them. You guys will be no different. Because we limit the number of couples we take on each year, we have the time to really get to know them. So you can bet that we’ll be joining in with you to celebrate, rather than hiding away in the corner.
the afterparty!
Once all the fun is over, it won’t be too long before your photos arrive! You’ll receive your photos in your own private online gallery — ready for you to download, share and relive on repeat. But the real magic happens off-screen! We’re also going to help you turn your favourite moments into a jaw-dropping album and priceless wall art. And… there’s a little surprise waiting for you too!

Almost every couple says this to us when we first meet them, so you’re not alone!
Here’s the thing — most of us are conditioned from an early age to freeze, smile and pose the second a camera gets pointed our way. It feels awkward, it looks awkward and we either give up or re-try over and over until we’re (somewhat) happy with the result.
But… have you ever noticed that it's the more candid and off-the-cuff photos that you love seeing yourself and others in the most? That’s because they’re a natural reflection of you, not a fake one!
So with that in mind, when it comes to portraits, we’ll guide you with simple, fun cues to help you interact naturally with each other. Nothing forced, nothing fake. Just the two of you being yourselves.
And for the rest of the day? Our couples always tell us that they barely noticed or cared about our cameras, even when we were right in front of them.
Think it can’t be done? Almost every couple in our photos felt just like you do now. We’re sure you’ve seen how great they all look!

First things first — don’t let the thought of rain ruin your wedding day before it’s even started! Make some simple back-up plans and be comfortable embracing whatever the sky dishes up on the day.
We can tell you from experience — which includes our own wedding — that the weather never matters as much as you think it will.
In fact, bad weather can often make a wedding day exciting in a different way, because everything suddenly becomes unpredictable.
We were nearly blown off a mountain in a storm and danced through torrential downpours with soaked couples and guests. In every situation, people had the absolute time of their lives!
Just remember, no matter what the weather’s doing, we’re prepped for it, and we promise it will look awesome!

Our approach your big day with the same energy, care and attention as any of our other couple’s weddings.
We’ve also got an elopement/limited coverage package that we can customise to suit your needs.
We only make room for a handful of these weddings each year though — so if you're thinking about it, get in touch with us soon!

On average, around 700 to 1,000+ photos for a typical full day wedding, but there is no limit.
The final number usually depends on things like how many people are at your wedding, how much action there is, how long the celebrations are and just the nature of the day in general.
What you won’t get, however, is hundreds of near-duplicates or ‘meh’ filler shots. We’re all about quality over quantity, so every image will have a purpose.
As for how long it takes — usually around 4–7 weeks, with a bunch of sneak peeks sliding into your inbox while we edit.
During this time, your wedding basically becomes a part of our daily life as we curate your photos and edit them in our signature punchy, true-to-life style.
We'll also be putting together your gallery and slideshow, as well as creating a personalised guide to building your wedding album!

Absolutely, they’re yours!
We deliver every photo to you in full resolution, so you can download them straight from your gallery and print them to your heart’s content.
That said, if the thought of Kmart prints makes you shudder (we feel you), then don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
You can order our stunning paper, canvas and metal prints directly from your gallery, all handcrafted by our world-class print lab that completely blows the retail options out of the water.
You’ll see the difference. Big time.

Yes!
We’re based in Port Stephens & the Hunter Valley, but we also travel to Brisbane for some weddings (it’s kind of our second home).
There’s no travel fee if your wedding is in Port Stephens, Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, Central Coast or Brisbane.
If you’re getting married outside of those areas, don’t stress. We’ll add a simple, all-inclusive travel fee that usually covers flights, accommodation and local transport if needed.
Send us the details and we’ll give you a quote to keep things easy and transparent.

First up, fill in our contact form and we’ll check to see if your date is free.
Then we’ll line up a time to chat — either on FaceTime, Zoom or in person if you’re nearby. It’s a great chance for us to meet properly and answer all of your questions (photography related or not) to make sure that you’ve got all the info that you need.
If we feel like a good fit for you, just let us know and we’ll send you a personalised booking portal where you can lock in your package, sign your contract and pay your retainer deposit, all in one simple step.
After that, we’re all yours!
