Do you travel?
We sure do!
Most of our couples get married in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast, as well as Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and Port Stephens. However, we're up for traveling anywhere in the world if our schedule allows for it.
If you're getting married at one of the above locations, then there's no travel fees! If you're getting married somewhere else, then fear not - we'll keep things simple and hassle-free for you by putting together a one-off, all-inclusive travel quote which typically includes flights or fuel, accommodation and local transport if needed.
What if it rains on our wedding day?
Thankfully, badly rain affected weddings don't happen anywhere near as often as a lot of people fear.
However, if it does happen, it doesn't have to be the end of the world and it really boils down to what kind of attitude you have towards a rainy wedding day.
Some of the most fun weddings we've been to were complete rain-outs. We've been on outdoor dance floors in pouring rain where everyone was having the time of their lives. So it really is what you make of it.
Having said that, for parts of the day like your portraits, we always have backup plans. Our extensive knowledge of creating our own light with off-camera flash means that we can work just about anywhere if we have to go under cover. And, of course, we can create some seriously unique and dramatic photos when there's water in the air!
So don't stress. Whatever happens with the weather, we've got your back. Just focus on having heaps of fun and embracing whatever mother nature delivers.
What if we're super awkward in photos?
Ok, so here's some straight facts. Nearly every single couple that you've seen on our website has said to us in the early stages that they're either awkward, uncomfortable or feel like they can't be themselves in front a camera. So if it's not 100% of our couples, it's damn close to it.
Why is this the case? Because we've all been programmed from an early age to freeze, smile and pose (often badly) when a camera or a phone gets put in in our face.
Luckily, we have a different approach that will completely change the way that you think about photography.
When it comes to portraits and your adventure session, we'll give you simple prompts to interact with each other in natural ways, blissfully unaware that there's even a camera on you. Nothing forced, nothing fake. It's the secret sauce to getting you to become completely comfortable.
And during the rest of your wedding day - because of our hands-off documentary approach - we'll simply become a part of the furniture, allowing you and your guests to relax and be at ease with our cameras being present.
How many photos will we get?
It's almost impossible to say with any certainty as there's no set limit to the number of photos that we'll deliver to you.
Plenty of variables can affect the final number, such as the length of your wedding day, how many people will be around you, how much action there is and so on.
As a rough guide though, you can probably expect around 700-900+ photos for a typical wedding.
When will we receive our photos?
The time between your wedding day and when you recieve your photos will easily be the busiest period for us.
During this time, we'll be carefully curating all of the images from your wedding, as well as going above and beyond to edit and polish your photos to our high technical and artistic standards (this is what takes up the most time and what makes your photos pop!). We'll also be preparing your gallery, producing your slideshow and much, much more.
As you've probably noticed by now, we're not the type of people to take shortcuts or treat your photos as part of a production line. So it'll likely take us around 5-7 weeks to get your full gallery to you.
We promise you that it'll be worth the wait and we'll be sharing some sneak peeks with you along the way!
Can we order prints from you?
Yes you can! We offer regular print options and as well amazing wall art from Italy. You can order in just a few easy clicks from your online gallery and we'll handle the rest!
How do we book you?
Hiring us is super easy and there's no salesy pressure attached.
First up, drop us a line on our contact page and tell us all about what you've got cooking for your big day.
Then, if we've got your wedding date free, we'll organise a time for the four of us to jump on Zoom so that we can meet each other face to face, chat about your plans and answer all of your questions (we're a completely open book, so fire away). If our locations and schedules line up, we can even meet up for a drink.
This is important because we really want to make sure that you're properly armed with all the info that you need and that you're 100% happy with whatever you decide to do. It's a big decision and we've been there ourselves, so we get it.
If you feel like we're a great fit and would love to have us come along to your wedding, you can secure your date online within minutes. Once you've signed your contract and payed your 30% retainer deposit, we'll be all yours, with your balance due one month before your wedding day.
